Maths - European Union Style

by Craig Chapman - 16:45 on 22 September 2009

As our friends across the Irish Sea stand as our last hope against the liars of Brussels, we offer the following example of just how the EU "benefits" our lives.

Before the pound fell a third against the Euro, we paid an average £44million every day to the EU. That rose to an approximate value of £58million as the pound fell.

The Bruges Group value our total daily EU financial imbalance of money, influence, competitiveness and basic shafting at £248million every day.

We get an average of one third of what we give the EU, invested back in favour our nation's coffers.

So...

When are told that the EU has invested £20million in a project that is of benefit for us, the truth is that we have given them £60million of our hard earned and charged taxes and they have kept £40million and given us £20million back.

Meanwhile, they get to change our laws !!!

This is what every British government since 1970 has been fighting to achieve and the supposed third party (LibDums) in the UK back this even more than Laboured and Conswervative.... and still we vote for them ??????

We are being shafted, bullied, lied to, ripped off, laughed at and pushed around by all manner of pocket filling slime in Brussels.

Everyone of these so called "EU backed Initiatives" could be paid for by our government and we could invest the lost 2/3 in something for our own benefit and not Latvia's, Portugal's or Romania's, etc.

We wish these countries well, but they are not our responsibility.

So Ireland, do your best and tell those lying bullies from Brussels to get lost (and how I want to phrase it stronger).

Of course, these figures only represent what we can account for, as the EU has not had its finances audited for 14 years, therefore we dare not even imagine the reality of the situation.

And still we pay the thieving bastards !!
