Britannia - off our currency ???by CRaig Chapman - 09:19 on 14 April 2009The Royal Mint has quietly announced that Britannia is to be removed from all our coins and banknotes. Was this voted on by Parliament or as usual sneaked in by our Euromad government?
This is a national disgrace and one more step in eliminating our British identity. For centuries Britannia, recognised the world over, has been the hallmark of our proud currency.
It now only needs one more step to making our coins look as cheap and tatty as the Euro and that is to remove our Queens head.
Would Mr Brown tell us what date the EU Commission has ordered him to do this and what they plan to replace her with ???

Likewise Greg !! We also got some £20 notes from the BCG meeting with Tony Blair's head replacing the Queen. I have offered it at many shops but no-one will trust his money - even though everyone and his/her dog voted for the cretins.
