2008 - be ashamed Mr Brown, be very ASHAMED !!

by Craig Chapman - 12:16 on 04 January 2009

Welcome to 2009. At least it will not be a boring year politically speaking, as predicted, things have "livened-up" considerably since Labour welcomed the Slime-Lord Mandleson back from Brussels. The big shame is that it is not a change for the better.

So, what do we have to look forward to ?

i) Gordon Brown promises to save a world that fell off a cliff face, thanks to the gross economic mis-management that was overseen by a group of G8 leaders and their financial advisors during the last ten years of living beyond their means. The fact that Gordon Brown was slap bang in the middle of all the short-sighted decisions and over-borrowing seems to have passed our British public by – and we are still waiting for his apology.

His latest policy to employ labourers to mend and re-build everything has several potential problems. (i) He'll employ mostly Eastern Europeans to earn from our future taxes and they'll bank it all back home (ii) Its even more of a burden on the state purse when he should be concentrating on helping the private sector to grow and be more effective (iii) He'll hire more sub-contractors on rates that cannot possibly get the job done properly (iv) No doubt contracts will be bid for across the EU as he is not allowed to keep things in-house, having handed the EU all his power in such matters.

ii) David Cameron is just ahead in the opinion polls but unable to offer any radical differences to a Labour government that has moved so far right that the Tories are almost sat on the floor. I admit to being something of an older style Tory, one without all the political correctness and inability to finish a sentence with the conviction it was started with. In Mr Cameron’s position, I’d be slapping Labour from left to right without taking letting them up for air, and yet he never quite gets there does he ? He is barely an alternative these days, let alone the answer. Nice bloke and all that but we need a leader with conviction.

iii) The LibDemmy bloke believes that his own party is rubbish, so why should we disagree with him ? Vince Cable and their financial guy do have the presence to stand up and knock our government, and yet they are so far entrenched in the politically correct and corrupt EU ideals that everything they do quote with any sense is in direct conflict with their party’s mantra.

iv) Then we have a bunch of single issue parties, some of which do speak very good sense (and some don’t) but as they do not offer a cross-the-board set of policies, they could never form a government.

The recent words from the Archbishop of Canterbury and other religious leaders in the UK were hard hitting and Gordon Brown’s promise to look after us was in direct contrast to his party’s performance over recent years when they have only looked after themselves and Brussels. Strangely, the words of the hated Iranian President were not that dissimilar to those of the Archbishop. The British position as a greedy world stockbroker has been sussed and left us in a very dangerous position as world finances have been threatened through dodgy practices, brought about by the arrogant lack of regulation and foresight.

Popular Alliance believes that our Public Sector is too large and drains too heavily on the Private Sector’s ability to support it. Our policies are based upon this fact and we refuse to deviate.

Any money generated through honest invention and manufacturing has already been spent many times over by Mr Brown and his credit card government. Yet we still see growth in Government sector jobs and their benefits, whilst thousands are being laid off elsewhere. This looks to be the pattern for 2009 and a few years beyond. Nearly 95% of jobs for women created since 1997 have been in the Public Sector whilst a similar figure of all positions filled in the 2-3 years have been taken by migrant workers. Popular Alliance would not tolerate this.

The ever-growing number of state employees locks most of them into voting to keep this government in power as their jobs rely upon such a policy. This is an almost communist trait and yet at the same time, many side jobs are then being sub-contracted out to the lowest private bidders who often cannot afford to provide the service required on such budgets. This is simply very bad management and yet provides Labour with an excuse every time that something goes wrong – it’s the contractor’s fault !!

The Archbishop was right – it’s a very corrupt way to run a country, with only one direction – DOWN !!

Our nation presently pays a minimum £44 million every day to the European Union with a typical 30% return in actual benefits to our nation. Estimates of up to £152 million every day being the total impact of our daily input are quoted by The Bruges Group. The government that gives away this money (future taxes that we do not have) has not yet outlined one single benefit that we gain from this outgoing. With recent the fall in the value of the Pound against the Euro, we see that base £44 million rising to equal the value of our previous handouts. The Euro has gained nearly a third on the Pound, so a ball park figure of £58 million every day is now closer to the mark, here in 2009. Is Mr Brown trying to completely bankrupt the Pound to give us no choice but the accept the Euro ?

The amazing conclusion regarding Gordon Brown and the EU is that as an arrogant control freak, how can he be comfortable having so many of his powers controlled by someone else. Sure, it gives him an excuse for each failure (and of course he takes advantage of this situation, time and time again) but as he has been the one giving us away so diligently, so he is responsible for anything they cock-up. Popular Alliance believe that Gordon Brown is such a complex mix of contradicting ideals that he is a danger to both himself and most certainly to us as a nation. Perhaps the term Dictator By Proxy is suitable ? He can dictate his undemocratic ideals and then blame someone else when they go wrong. People should be arrested if they vote for this idiot when he finally faces the public at the polls.

Our contractors are unable to effectively compete for contracts in Europe and also lose many upon our own shores due to high internal taxation and regulation, whilst countless EU based competitors openly ignore such requirements and win the business.

Our farmers are giving up in their droves as regulations that are supposed to give us a chance in Europe, are not enforced in other EU countries. Our farmers are priced out of their livelihoods and our consumers are then at the mercy of the EU exporters.

Our energy supplies are in deep peril as Russia throws another fit in the direction of Ukraine – this should be of no relevance to us whatsoever, but as so little has been invested in power production on our shores in recent decades, we are now in the hands of greedy and unstable regimes overseas. Examples such as pensioner’s hand-outs for winter energy ensure huge profits are made in France and Germany as they own our power networks. We should have invested in re-usable and natural localised power generation a long time ago to avoid such wastage and be able to predict and solve such problems for ourselves.

We still have a vast number of people either unable or unwilling to work upon our shores – as a direct result of weak governments. Not working is now a life choice for many, as the rest of us carries the burden of supporting them.  This makes Popular Alliance blood boil !!

We could carry on with these prime examples of poor government all day. All 3 main parties and much of our media are wrapped up in the European Union, the politically correct garbage and the mass wastage that our nation has suffered. Polls always show that the majority of Brits do not support or trust the EU, and yet everyone still votes for 3 parties that ensure we stay governed by this organisation that is so corrupt that it has not been had its accounts audited and signed-off for more than 10 years now. No business in the UK would be able to operate in such a situation, so why do we allow one to govern us, tax us and weaken us so much ?

Popular Alliance is THE ONLY UK Political Party with a full agenda of policies, that also opposes the European Union. Doing so does not make us a single issue party, far from it, however we do find that the EU has become so deeply entrenched in our nation’s whole operating system, that it is the common denominator in almost everything that is wrong upon our shores and then ties our hands to do anything positive about correct matters.

Please do review our policies at www.popularalliance.org and feel free to tell your friends and colleagues about us.

2008 has shown beyond all doubt that The United Kingdom cannot survive as it is presently ruled and still the opposition offer no effective alternatives. In 2009, we need one almighty shake up of this nation’s direction and leadership. Heads must role, right from the very top and to quote Mr Obama, “we are so much better than this and we deserve so much better than this.”

Be ashamed Mr Brown, be very ashamed !!
