Wise Man, He Say "Do" - Whilst He Doesn't !!

Our immortal and wise leader McGordon McBrown this week informs us that we throw away too much food, which is why we all have so little to spend on other things he can tax.

King Prudence strikes again !!

Of course there is a degree of common sense in his statement and I'm pretty sure that most people can work that one (and other ways to save) out for themselves - slow down your driving, buy only the food you need, insulate leaky windows and door gaps etc....

What really annoys me about our Prime Minister's words however, is whilst he is preaching to us to be more prudent (oops, that word again) he and his maniac European Union colleagues ensure that our farms and people working in all associated trades, are taxed, red-taped and bullied out of existence. Meanwhile, farmers across Europe are subsidised by mine and every other hard working Brit's taxes.  

Meet us half way Gordon, how about that ? We'll stop throwing away left over food into the Prescott bucket, if you tell the EU to get lost and support our food producing industries.

You are supposedly our leader, how about leading for once, its what we pay you for !!

Oh yes, and how was the 18 course Japanese buffet ? Did you use chopsticks or golf clubs ?
