Labour - Up The Paddle Without A Swanny !!!

by Craig Chapman - 08:16 on 27 June 2008

I guess it’s ironic that labour should sink so low in Henley, home of the Regatta. Gordon Brown is truly up a Paddle without a Swanny. Thrashed out of their deposit by the Greens and the BNP !! Tories and LibDems out front again by saying precisely nothing. Again, we deserve better than this and STILL our newspapers and TV see only Cameron as the alternative, perhaps - but no-one seems to be referring to him as THE ANSWER !!

“Hey Dave, what’s the answer to our country’s crises ?”
“Errr, dunno”
OK chaps, let’s make him our Prime Minister.
We may as well vote for Steve McLaren if that is the situation. Let’s give it a try :-
“Hey Steve, what’s the answer to our country’s crises ?”
“I’m glad you asked, we’ll play 3 right backs on the left wing and a short bloke in goal.”
Wow, a policy, this guy is a genius, let’s vote for him instead !!!
This sums up our situation. David Cameron is now asking his party to “lay off” Gordon Brown so that he still has a lame duck opponent at the next elections in 2 years time. Well thank you Mr Cameron, you seem glibfully content to see our country go downhill for another 2 years before getting off your ass to earn £165,000 p/a. A fine, respected leader you will be – NOT.
Your cheesy attempt at humour has fallen even lower than Labour’s attempt to unseat the new Crewe MP by saying he is posh, whilst their own failed candidate is on the UK’s snootiest listings. You obviously don’t mind more families losing their homes, struggling to eat, losing their jobs and freezing through the winter for 2 more years, so long as you still only have McGordon to beat in 2 years time. You disgust me.
This country needs to face the truth. None of this expense-grabbing bunch of losers are worthy of leading a country. Very few of them have this country as their main priority and yet most of them will continue to drag us deeper into the proverbial unless they face up and enforce some hard hitting new policies.
i) Stop giving away our taxes to the unworthy
ii) Invest those taxes in repairing our country
iii) Stop allowing other countries to dictate our laws and way of life
iv) Tell the Liberal tax sponges to get real and actually DO SOMETHING worthwhile
v) Get some respect back into society
vi) Put the UK into a position where it is able to feed itself, power itself, heal itself and rebuild itself.

Popular Alliance policies offer this.
