Farewell & ThanksReligion As A WeaponBanking, Bankers and GovernmentEU Arrogance - again !!Davie Goes To StrasbourgIndex We work for Alistair Darling until June 2nd 2008by Don Clark - 06:58 on 30 April 2008How Long It Takes Us To Cover Our Tax Bills
Admission time. Who likes paying taxes and who is happy with how our Government uses them ?
Did you know that in 2008, you will not start to earn any money until Monday 2nd June
From JANUARY 1st until FEBRUARY 8th your earnings pay for Social Protection Budgets which include pensions, Tax Credits, Income Support, Disability Benefits & Child Benefits.
For the remainder of FEBRUARY until MARCH 10th, you are working to pay the health budget.
From March 10-28th, your hard earned wages pay the Education Budget, which includes Schools and Universities. Please remember too that us English are paying the Scottish to attend their universities for free. If an English family send their son/daughter to a Scottish University and he/she makes friends with a Scottish student, then the English parents are paying for both of them !!!
MARCH 31st to APRIL 11th covers Culture, Media, Sport, International Development and the dreaded European Union.
APRIL 14-21st sees you sweating bullets for Public Order & Safety - Police, Fire, Courts & Prisons.
APRIL 21-28th covers Defence costs and then through to May 6th, you are contributing to cover the National Debt.
From MAY 7-13th, Social Services owe you a smile as you fund Social Work and Community Care, with the Housing Budget cashing in from MAY 14-19th.
Then MAY 20-26th pays off Industry, Agrictulture, Employment & Training
The last 3 days of MAY covers the transport budget.
CONGRATULATIONS, June 2nd arrives and you can finally pocket some dough !!
So, Popular Alliance strongly recommend that we all go on strike around APRIL 7th for 4 days, which should see the European Union go hungry !! Only joking, but wouldn’t that be a nice opportunity ?
