EU Drains Many Aspects Of Our Lives

by Craig Chapman - 09:14 on 02 April 2008

Popular Alliance has campaigned consistently for 2 years now, that the European Union, its attempted constitution and treaties are an undemocratic sham and a complete drain upon our country’s finances.

Our Government has deliberately misled us all the way.

The Tories

The Conservative opposition has performed a pathetic lip service approach to anti-EU campaigning and it is quite obvious that their feelings on the matter are split, but that they do not have the courage of their convictions to get stuck into the subject, beyond using it to knock the Government when various issues hit the headlines. They could easily pull our Government apart with an “every day language” opening of how the EU bleeds our nation dry, but they have no concrete policies to fall back upon and they do not wish to burn their bridges in case the gravy train comes-a-calling.

Liberal Democrats

The LibDems have played a combination of Vicky Pollard and Jim from Vicar of Dibley roles with their YesNoYesNoYesNo games. We know that they fully support full integration into the European Union and would dissolve the monarchy tomorrow if given the opportunity. They are also responsible for the namby-pamby, work shy, discipline-lacking, claim culture that this country suffers, even though have not made it into power for nigh on 100 years. The recent popularity swing in favour of the Tories shows how far off track the LibDems really are if they cannot make some headway in the present situation.

They Now All Blame the BNP

Following the complete failure of UKIP, all 3 main parties are now doing their best to lay the anti-EU fight at the doors of the BNP in an immature attempt to create another reason to avoid EU discussions and tar them both with the same racist brush. As our Party leader Brian Buxton included in his letter to a local newspaper this week, the rise in the popularity of the BNP is directly down to the pathetic management of our country by our Government and the weakness of the opposition. If the BNP grow in strength and it worries them, Labour and the Tories only have themselves to blame.

BNP Position

BNP though, is a single issue party with a very committed following. They don’t join that party to not vote, they don’t have armies of fence sitters. Popular Alliance do not agree with their motives and we are most amused that they suspect us of being a Labour Party plant to dilute Nationalistic feeling in this country.

House Of Lords Position - didn't we say this two years ago ???

This Fine Body of Heroes finally produced a paper this week agreeing that the European Union's open door policy to Immigration (and its over-abused Human Rights Act) has not, as Labour keep telling us, boosted our economy. In fact, in many aspects, it creates huge drain upon every resource that our hard earned taxes are supposed to finance. Certain areas have of course been boosted, but the overall costs of accomodating everyone and paying for so many British people to not work, is far higher.
So we ask, are the main 3 parties now accusing the House of Lords of siding with the BNP ?

Popular Alliance Position

Popular Alliance is a multi-issue party with a mixture of common sense policies from left, centre and right, that recognises that the problems caused by the European Union affect so many policy issues - Immigration, Taxation, Employment, Welfare, Law, Business Development, Housing, Education, Farming…. the list is endless. In tackling the many problems that more and more of us in the UK complain about and struggle to live with, the most common denominator is our membership of the European Union. That is why we keep banging on about how corrupt it is, how it is ruling our land and why we are sinking deeper into the mire. Our polices call for a Referendum on the our EU membership and we would present endless black and white reasons to leave it.

Sarkozy Makes Brown Squirm

Only last week, French President Mr Sarkozy, publically thanked Gordon Brown for denying us our democratic right to vote on who should rule our country. Gordon Brown literally squirmed. He knows that he has cheated us and lied to us and when taken in a wider perspective, he is a traitor of the realm and of the citizens of the UK. He is also party to theft - from my wallet and many others - as he permits the EU to illegally take approx £100 every month from my wages to give to Brussells to waste as they wish, without fear of being audited. I would like to see him justify that fact in court.

How can anyone vote for this ?

By the way, hello Mr Cameron, which aspect of my blog are you going to borrow today ? Get your own ideas sunshine !!
