I Actually Agree With Cherie !!

I awoke with a jump last night when it dawned on me that I actually agree with Cherie Blair.

Yes, as hideous as it really is, we have something in common - we both cannot stand Gordon Brown. There is just something very sinister, untrustworthy and creepy about the guy.

I have not had the opportunity to meet him or have him as a neighbour for 10 years (although I did live nextdoor to an unemployed grave digger for 2 years a while back and can appreciate the parallels), however I really do appreciate where she is coming from with this sentiment.

Tony Blair was easy to understand and I do not honestly believe that he deliberately made so many cock-ups on purpose, he always did what he believed was right and he had the courage of his convictions - it was simply a case of him being wrong too often !!

Gordon Brown however is always happy to say whatever the listener wishes to hear, whilst he has absolutely no intention of doing what he says.

This results in a very worrying situation for our nation. 

I also believe that most of the government and civil service shares this sentiment and has given up the will to do their jobs as thoroughly for him - hence outrage after outrage on a daily basis - with the flames quite possibly fanned by senior ex-ministers who have lost their jobs to the sort of people who really should be asking if "and do you want fries with that.".

Apart from this appalling situation, I am equally worried about why I was "dreaming about Cherie Blair. " Please God let it have been a nightmare !!
