GOLDEN CASH COWS - THAT'S YOU & ME !!

GOLDEN CASH COWS – YEP THAT’S YOU & ME

So Scotland wants its independence does it ? Well, from a tax point of view, as things are presently being run, they are bloody welcome to it.

Taxes raised north of the border in the last year totalled £44 billion, whilst their public expenditure will top £60.2 billion according to Centre of Economic and Business Research. In my books, that means that they are heavily in the red and suggests that those throwing the money around willynilly would be more suited to running a football club, than a country.

University fees are free in Scotland, unless you are English. English parents have to pay £3K+ per annum for their children to attend University in any part of the United Kingdom, so in essence, well paid English tax payers with clever kids end up paying twice !! Or to spread the load across those of the English workforce who qualify for taxation, that's £600 each, for Scotland to have for free, what we have to pay for !!! Even Monty Python couldn't make that one up.

Likewise - prescriptions, eye tests, dental check-ups, 24/7 public transport for pensioners, 24/7 nursing care for pensioners, school dinners, 24/7 central heating for pensioners, specialist drugs for the likes of cancer sufferers. Do they not have an accountant in their midst ?

These represent some very popular political moves, the recipients of which must be over the moon to have us stupid English paying for them to have all the benefits we would love to offer our own grandparents, but can't because our Government has a hole in it's collective bucket. Its like the Dundee United manager signing Henry, Ronaldinho & Terry, with just £10 in his bank account. Cowboy politics from a party (SNP) that has in its ranks a chap who was happy to claim for most of his life.

Its even stranger when we consider that the Chancellor of the Exchequer for the last 10 years and now the Prime Minister is Scottish. The plot thickens.

It makes us wonder, is this all a model experiment to see how the English will be able to fund the whole of Europe in the near future ?

Is it a case of the Brown/Merkel/Sarcosi triangle sitting around a table discussing “if the stupid English take the Scottish thing gently on the chin, then we’re sure they won’t mind handing a bit more tax to build more roads in Latvia, free coffee breaks at 11am every day in Romania, zoos in Madeira and factories in Slovakia, to take away their own jobs ?”
Meanwhile, numerous menial jobs in England are now taken by EU migrants. Many of these jobs do not pay enough to rise much above the tax threshold, however these workers are entitled to NHS care, schools, etc. Now throw in the lazy, English shirkers who refuse to work or are so deeply submerged in the UK's handouts culture that they can't afford to escape, and that's another 2 sets of people we're paying for.
Moooooooo Kerching, Moooooooo Kerching - I'm a bloody cash cow !!

We now learn that Glasgow has secured the Commonwealth Games. Exactly whose "wealth" are we referring to here ? Present figures suggest that "common" is not the operative word in this phrase !! Most international sporting events lose money which then becomes a tax burden for the local tax payers (eg : Sheffield is STILL paying for David Blunkett's Student Games fiasco)

So, to summarise :-

The English are golden cash cows to Scotland.

This is all one sneaky experiment to see if that can be extended to the whole of the European Union, even though we already pay the thieving gits £40 million every day (that's approx £1,200 of my own tax every year).

Our diesel is now £1.04 per litre - perhaps this is how McGordon intends to recoup the £19 billion Scottish deficit

My tax bill is through the damn roof, but I can’t get a hospital appointment this year unless I pay the same doctor £150 to then see him in his conservatory on one of his 4 afternoons off each week.
This is future as we see it unless the people get off their backsides and say NO, NO, NO, NO, NO !!!!!!!!

The Popular Alliance Policy regarding the 4 countries of the United Kingdom is to retain the central government and allow some local decision making, however the situation described above demonstrates gross mis-management and an arrogant disregard for how our taxes are used.
Were a business to be run on such poorly costed accounting, then many workers would have been laid off, banks would be all over them and Directors could well find themselves in court to pay off debtors. It is hardly surprising to note that nearly one quarter of Scotland's jobs are in the government sector with nice juicy pensions included.
Usually directors of a business that performs in this way would be banned by the courts from running a business in the future. Will the politcians responsible for this be dealt with in the same way ?
Popular Alliance suggests that those responsible should be have charges brought against them, that they should find a way of re-imbersing those from who they have taken and that they should never be allowed to sit in government again.
Could everyone please look out for a chap named Fawkes, we might have a cunning plan with which he could help us !!
