Fundraising

Pelvic Instability Network Scotland (PINS) is the only Scottish charity supporting people with Pelvic Girdle Pain.

A date for your diary : PINS Awareness Week 4th October -10th October 2010

Please  help  us  raise money by holding "Vanishing tea parties" and increase awareness of Pelvic Girdle Pain, reduce isolation and have fun at the same time!

We are currently raising funds to enable us to provide a telephone helpline, to distribute information leaflets to maternity hospitals and health professionals and to go and meet with midwives, GPs and physiotherapists to increase awareness of the condition and to discuss ways in which we can work together to support people with pelvic girdle pain. Our vision is for everyone affected by PGP to have  access to current, accurate information and  early diagnosis and treatment.

If you have found the information we have provided useful, please help us to reach more people with Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) and to help others like you by using any of the following methods.

By fundraising on our behalf:

Why not join us in raising funds?- our first fundraising event at the launch of the charity on the 25th April was a Virgin Vie party and raised £528. We were encouraged by the support and generosity of our local community and the feedback from everyone who attended was very positive. Since then we have had a sponsored 10km event, tombola stalls at the Southend Highland Games and Mull of Kintyre Music Festival and a car boot sale.

Options for fundraising are limited only by your imagination and include coffee mornings, sponsored walks or runs , bag packing at the local supermarket, car boot sales, selling home made cards,  sponsored toddles for the little ones etc.

If you are taking part in a sponsored event we can provide you with T shirts and sponsor forms and we can help you set up a fundraising page on the everyclick site.  Please contact us for further information. We would be delighted to hear from you.
