Taranga, the first Opus 34 built by the Pedersen & Thuesen yard, in 1970, is owned by Danish adventurer Soeren Dahl. He has fitted her out for extensive world cruising. It is a testament to the well-founded design and build of these seaworthy yachts that Soeren has placed his trust in an Opus 34.

Soeren plans a very long sail: Denmark - Azores - Gran Canaria - via the Atlantic to the Caribbean - through the Caribbean Sea - Cuba - Panama - Coco Island - Galapagos - Marquesas Islands - Toamotu - Tahiti. It will take him approximately one year to reach the other side of the world!
