20th December

It's the Christmas night and work begins on the CB 250 - see the CB 250 page. Pakora and samosas were provided by Ann which were greatly appreciated. The samosas were vegetarian haggis samosas and the pakora was nicely nippy for such a cold evening. The outside temperature is about  minus 12C - very cold, thank goodness for Krakatoa for heat and to warm the delicious snacks!

19th December

Andy arrives with the new project. Pictures are now available on the website. It is quite complete and original so it should be an excellent project.

December 2010

Good news! Andy has a new project on it's way from the Manchester area - a 1973 Honda 250 K4. Andy has a liking for this bike and we suspect that the front brake for creazione uno comes from a Honda 250 twin. We hope this is more successful than the last Jap 250 we worked on - the Green Snotter. The Snotter is a Kork Ballington styled Kawasali 250 with the side panel badges celebrating Kork's world championship. If anyone is interested in purchasing the Green Snotter for spares or repairs, or just for the side panels, tank, seat and mudguards, just leave a message and phone number on the gguestbook.

29th November 2010

This website was launched today! All members, except Dave who is stuck on an oil rig, trudged through the snow for the surprise launch. Lager and beer was consumed in celebration and a modicum of celebratory whisky was taken.

November 2010

The sticks have been saved over the milder weather to feed the wood burner during the winter. Chief stoker Allan has many interesting ways of starting the fire which is necessary of course for maintaining a standard temperature for paint spraying. We have often imagined what can be cooked on the top of the stove. The only tried and tested food (apart from chutney) is Ann's pakora which heats up in just a few minutes and is delicious with chilli sauce, although the sauce is not necessary!
