About Us

The Muchalls Bistro is owned and managed by Hermann and Lynn Schmid.

Hermann completed his classical French training in his home country ,Bavaria, then worked in several countries including Luxembourg and the Caribbean, settling in Scotland in the early nineties. With it's abundance of fresh Seafood and Game, Hermann has remained in Scotland, moving to Aberdeenshire in 1993.
