Henry VII

 

 

 Herny VII was born on the 28th of January in 1457 to both Edmund Tudor, !st Earl of Richmond and lady Margaret Beaufort. Henry VII's father was captures during a war when he was fighting for Henry VI in South Wales. His dad died just 3 months before his mother gave birth to him. His mother was just aged 13 when she gave birth to Henry VII. Henry VII if he were to clain the throne he had to defeat Richard III and he fought and started a war known as the War of Roses. He had 5000 soldiers and many sides on Richard III betrayed him and Henry VII eventually defeated him. He was given the throne and he was given the opportunity to marry Elizabeth of York. He married Elizabeth of York in Westminister. This marraiage made the emblem of the symbol known as the Tudor Rose- combination of Red roses of Lancaster and White Roses of York.
