Our Raw Materials

Stein is ideally situated to take advantage of the bountiful clear waters of North West Scotland.

Hand-dived scallops from Sconsor, mussels from Arisaig, prawns (langoustines) from Loch Bay, Loch Dunvegan and the Little Minch, lobsters from Neist Point, Milovaig and the Little Minch. Prime white fish through the port of Mallaig. Salads and herbs from Orbost, Skye, free range ‘happy’ eggs from Waternish.

Everything is made on the premises by David and Alison, including bread and desserts using the freshest ingredients.
