Robin

(b. 1939) was the eldest son of Gervas and Betty, and Violet's eldest grand-son.  He had an elder sister Gill, and two younger brothers, Nigel and Crispin. When Robin's parents travelled to England on leave in 1945 after the War, they left Gill and Robin in Violet's care for the three years until their next home leave.

Robin was always bad at writing letters.
