30 September 2011 - Harvest Supper in the Victory Hall with entertainment by the local group Quarto.
Commences 7.00 pm prompt when supper will be served.
People welcome to bring their own drinks and glasses.
Tickets £8 available from PCC members.
Grand draw to take place during the evening.
We have just had the Harvest Festival today, Sunday, 2nd of October
2011. Thers were about 20 people there, two local farmers and some of their families plus a few regulars worshipers. Unfortuately there was virtually no-one from the villages. Perhaps it was because they were un-aware that this important farming occasion was on today !
Bric a Brac wanted !!
St Peters Church are having there big fund raise on 21 October 2011 at St Crux, York. Refreshments and Bric a Brac. If anyone has any Bric a Brac then please bring it to St Peters Church on a Sunday morning before 1100 and leave it in the front Porch where it will be collected and stored for the big event. If you have unwanted Bric a Brac and you can't get it to the Church then contact any of the Church Wardens who will assist you. If you fancy helping on the day then check with Jane and come along to St Crux, in the middle of York, near Marks and Spencers on the day. Its a great fun day, meeting all sorts of people, from all over the world and I can vouch for that ! If your good at selling and have the gift of the gab, then this is for you !

This lively children’s club meets on alternate Tuesdays in the Church. Children of all ages are very welcome. For further details contact Jennifer Barber. The next club meeting will be in September 2011.
