Some of KLB Camanachd's past and present players will be joining peers from Farr High School past and present to represent Sutherland in the Kenny Nostie Macleod Memorial Cup. The match throws up at 3pm in Firthview Park, Thurso on Saturday 29th September pitting the Sutherland team against their old rivals Caithness. The match was organised in memory of Reverend Kenny Macleod who was instrumental in the setting up and running of Thurso Junior Club for many years as well as being part of Naver Athletic who took part in the Sutherland and Strathdearn cup competitions in 2008. Kenny sadly passed away this past April leaving behind wife Marianna and their two children. His daughter Isobel will be playing for the Caithness side on Saturday. All those who knew Kenny and played with and against him thought very highly of his enthusiasm and dedication to the game, probably why everyone who was asked to play on Saturday said yes with no hesitation.

Come along and support the teams on Saturday, it'll be a great game of Shinty in memory of a lovely man.
