Next weekend we are off to take part in the Senior development League in Inverness. This involves our older more experienced players and is a great progression path for those who have already left school. There are 3 dates for the league, 21st May, 30th July and 27th August. We are unsure what teams we are playing but it maybe Uist, lewis, Strathspey and a team from Caithness.

June 4th is the annual Far North Shinty Sixes Tournament from 11.30am in Scourie. We hope to have more teams than last year with Loch Broom, Strathspey and Caithness sending teams as well as Lewis, Farr and ourselves. We still need help to run the BBQ, stalls and generally help out on the day. This is a good fundraiser for us and we are low on funds this year. Shinty Shop have confirmed their attendance again and we are delighted to have them! We hope to have another great day of Shinty as in previous years.

We are taking part in the Scott Centenary Scholarship Fund Sledge Pull in Serptember. This is to raise funds for the scholarships as well as for KLB Camanachd. We will be pulling sledges on a 10 mile leg somewhere between Ullapool and John O'Groats. This is a national event with schools from all over the UK taking part. The event i starts at Lands End. We are hoping local and national businesses will sponsor us as well as friends and family so if you can help please let us know.
