Yesterday we travelled to Ullapool to play a friendly tournament at the High School. We started with our P7-S2 teams but we were down two players due to sickness so the team was made up of just two S2 pupils and the remaining 5 were P7s. However they all played valiantly with Mark D scoring a fantastic goal from just over the halfway line to give us one goal to Ullapool's three. The older group made up of S3 and above were playing Ullapool counterparts of the same age. It was a very well matched game with great skill and great Shinty from both sides, Dodi, however was on fire and proved a sure shot scoring four goals and with one from Jack and one from Kyle it took the score to 6-4 for KLB Camanachd. Once again Loch Broom hosted a fantastic evening of Shinty, a great friendly atmosphere and we really appreciate the kind hospitality after the matches. Both sides are keen to meet up again in the near future for another friendly hit about. Well done to all involved in KLB and Ullapool.
