Congratulations to Miss MacNeil and Peter, they now have a beautiful baby girl. Little Holly was a month early but is now at home and doing well. Miss MacNeil is now off for her Maternity leave so Paula and Duncan are battling on with Shinty! Training has now resumed after so much time was lost due to the awful weather before Christmas.  P1-4 is on Mondays 3.40-4.30pm with Paula helped by Iain and Lily. P5-7 Shinty is Wednesdays 3.40-4.30 with Paula assisted by various members of the High School Shinty group and of course Duncan's session with the High Schoolers is the usual 4.30-6pm. We are doing our utmost to drum up some matches but as yet have been unsuccessful. We will of course take attend as many of the events organised by the Camanachd as we possibly can. Some of the dates already in the diary are as follows:

Feb 26 - Primary First Shinty Nationals, Fort William

March 12 - Primary First Shinty Sixes Tournament, Thurso

May 20/21 - Minch Medal Tournament, Stornoway

June 4 - Far North Shinty Sixes

We are also hopeful that the Senior Development League that is in the pipline will come to fruition. This will allow our older players and those who have left school to take part in a round robin league once a month in May, June, July & August in Inverness.

We hope to also get some friendlies against Lewis, Uist and Ullapool but will keep you posted on any developments there.
