Last Sunday saw us set of at 6.30am in very frosty conditions to travel to Spean Bridge to take part in a sixes tournament. There were twelve teams in all, split into two leagues. We had games against Kilmallie, Lochaber, Inveraray, Newtonmore and Glenurquart, no easy ride for us then! We drew our game against Inveraray but lost the others although, some, as with Newtonmore by just one goal. All in all it was a great perofrmance by us underdogs and we all thoroughly enjoyed the well orgainsed tournament. As we headed home we had a detour via Invergarry to go Munro Camans to pick up our new sticks. While we were there we got an impromtu tour of the workshop by Mr Sloggie and he also gave us all a demonstration on how our sticks were made. We had a great wee hour with the Sloggies and loved seeing where our camans come from. All in all we had a great day out!
