Last Saturday saw us travelling up to Thurso to play our last league game. We had matched our team in age with the Thurso team but when we arrived found their players considerably smaller than ours. With this in mind our three seniors, Taylor, Oliver and Sophie only played one at a time and for a very short time. Towards the end we kept all three off and left our younger players to battle it out. The remaining players were all P7, S1 and S2 but had considerably better shinty skills and team work than their Thurso rivals. Connor, Struan and Billy, all P7, took the score to 3-0 for KLB in the first half. Our team went into the second half still dominating and with goals from Sine, S1, Billy, P7, another 2 from Struan, P7, Mark D, P7, 2 from Iain, S1 and another from Connor P7,  the end score was 11-0 to KLB. There could have been a few more if not for some great saves by the wee Thurso keeper. We hope to see the Thurso players over in KLB for the Sixes in June. Finally, well done to Billy - he gets £5 per goal from his Granda so went back to KLB £10 the richer!
