On Saturday 28 Feb, 8 players from P6/7 represented Klb Camanachd juniors and Caithness & Sutherland in the National First Shinty festival in Fort William.  Having experienced this exciting competition last year Connor and Mark were ecstatic about attending again and the 6 new players were looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead during the day.  Before the games got underway all the teams were piped into the sports hall and introduced to current Camanachd President Duncan Cameron who wished us well for the day.  Last years results were a bit disappointing for the players and they were desperate to show an improvement with their performances and scorelines.  They definately did this as you can see from the scores below and all the players were delighted with how well they had played in their games.  These results were fantastic especially in the games against Portree and Lochaber who were the 2 teams contesting the final at the end of the day.  A brilliant day was had by everyone involved and an amazing performance and teamwork was shown by the whole team. Well done to you all especially the P7s who  will be too old to take part next year, you did us proud!
