Yesterday 14 KLB Camanachd players took part in an Under 14s Highland Secondary school festival at Bught Park.  It will hopefully lead to the formation of leagues sometime in the near future!  There was a separate competition for Under 16 girls but our girls are tough and competed with the boys in a mixed team!  We were in League 2 with Wick, Dingwall, Kilchuimen, Ardnamurachan, Culloden, Inverness High and Inverness Royal Academy.  There were some tough games for our younger and less experienced players but we won our 2 games against Wick and Dingwall so we came away with some good results.  All the players did really well and should feel proud of themselves for competing they way they did especially against some players who looked very big for their age!  Hopefully yesterday will result in some more matches being played against lots of the new teams and help us get more experience so we keep improving over the next few years.
