Melanie can be booked for talks, tasters and performance for events as varied as WI meetings, hen parties, corporate team-building, or theme nights.

Format and content can be tailored to your needs. The price will depend on this, and everything is negotiable. As an indication:

20-30 minute performance set (or two 10-15 minute sets with a break for costume change): From £125.00 including travel within Pembrokeshire

Hen/birthday parties: from £50.00

Not for profit/charity talk/taster: from £25.00

Melanie and the Imago Dancers (depending on availability) are willing and happy to do some events for free on the basis that:

• They are for charity or there is some charity fundraising aspect to the event.
• We can freely promote Imago Belly Dance classes and events.
• We do not pay for entry or parking (or parking charges are refunded), and some sort of refreshments (at least soft drinks) are provided free of charge to the Imago Dancers.
• There is somewhere available for dancers to change (not just a small toilet stall or behind a tent!), and a secure location for us to leave our bags, clothes and props.
• Workshops are given on the same basis as classes, i.e. for all aged 14 and above. They are not a substitute childminding service.
• Some thought has gone into when and where we dance for both performance and workshops, i.e. that there is a safe, level surface to dance on, some provision has been made for wet weather (we prefer not to dance in boots, and mud is a health and safety issue as well as spoiling costumes), that for performance it is visible to the audience (you'd be surprised), that there is a PA system which is loud enough for participants to hear the music and accessible so that music can be played and tracks changed easily (I can bring CDs or plug in the iPOD.)
