About me:
I am a qualified registered and insured Homeopath with 35years of experience working in my local community.
My interest in homeopathy was sparked when a chronic illness I had for seven years, and for which I had tried many therapies as well as the NHS, was finally cured overnight after a visit to a homeopath. Not only was my problem cured, but I felt energised, positive and confident in a way that I hadn't for years.
Having previously been sceptical about homeopathy, I was so impressed that I decided to train as a homeopath myself.
I studied at the CHE in London, and practiced in a busy complementary medicine centre, as well as a charitable children's clinic and family centres in North London, for 13 years, alongside teaching part time in primary schools. I found that parents were interested in the remedies, and I was able to help many of my pupils overcome health problems both physical and emotional, and to see them becoming more confident and making strong progress in their learning and social skills.
As a mother of two daughters I found it empowering to have a range of remedies for use in emergencies-like the times one of them threw a sudden high fever, or broke an arm, or fell out of the top bunk bed. To have trusted remedies to give in those situations took much of the stress and anxiety away, and if the doctor was still needed, by the time we arrived at the surgery or A&E a lot of the symptoms would be significantly improved. We made very few visits to the doctor after we began using homeopathic remedies!
Since moving to South Devon I have continued to treat families locally, and to enjoy people's positive responses to their remedies. I attempt to keep my charges low in order to reach as many people as possible.
