Heaton Road Action Group (HRAG) is a newly formed Community Action Group aimed at making the environment we all live in safer, greener,tidier and generally a more pleasant place to live, work and play. We are a non-political group and aim to involve people from all backgrounds and ages working for the common good of the Heaton Road neighbourhood.

From time to time we all find ourselves having a moan about this or that in the neighbourhood - litter, rubbish, dog fouling, noise etc.

Well now is the chance to come together to do something about it rather than sitting arround moaning about it !

HRAG will be about action - not about having endless meetings to decide this or that !

GEOGRAPHICAL AREA COVERED

Our philosopy is to concentrate efforts on a relatively small geographical area and attempt to make a difference. HRAG will concentrate it efforts on the following area:

• Heaton Road  from the top of Park View Road up to and including Syke Road on both sides of the road (including the playing field/sports ground at back of Heaton Road)
• Milford Place & Firth Road
• Wilmer Road from the bottom of Firth Road to Park View Road
• Top section of Park View Road to Heaton Road Junction
