Awareness of Heart Failure and its effects on sufferers received considerable publicity today when the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) drive to Mend Broken Hearts received mention on BBC1’s Breakfast programme.

It is also a lead story on the general BBC website and in today’s Glasgow Herald.

In addition the social media Twitter has been alive with supportive and favourable ‘tweets’ on the subject.

Such publicity can only be for the good if it increases public awareness of the effects that heart failure has on those of us who have it, and if it also highlights the outstanding work of the British Heart foundation in it's Mending Broken Hearts appeal.
