Their coach Duncan Galbraith created a fun 'team' approach to promoting physical activity, by tackling virtual walking challenges. Duncan hoped his idea might encourage the group to remain physically active each day and wanted them not just to think of exercise as something they did when they attended the class.
CHSS encouraged their own support groups to get involved and last year they undertook to walk all the way to the CHSS would like to inspire you to undertake your own, or group, virtual tours and donate your steps or miles to this innovative project, after all, we can't leave them stranded on the Moon! Either use a copy of the form below or log on to www.facebook.com/InverclydeGlobetrotters to donate your steps/miles and tell them where you have been.

Could hopefully get us collectively and/or individually increasing our activity levels, whilst working together for a common goal. The choice of ‘virtual’ walks is endless, limited only by our imagination – “to boldly go where no man has gone before” – now where have I heard that before? Thanks for doing this to help us get back home to Greenock from the Moon. We've only 128,000 miles to go till touchdown! The Inverclyde Globetrotters will be chuffed when I tell them about your willingness to help them.
Best wishes and thanks to you and everyone at the Highland Heart Failure Forum.
