At the weekend, 10/11 March, there was no downhill skiing at Cairngorm and the hills looked more like they woould in May or June. All the lift tracks were incomplete, and even the Ptarmigan tow could not run. There was a ski-MTB 50/50 race on Saturday at the middle part of Coire Cas, on the narrow strip that remained.
