Players 44 at 6 tables

As usual,at the start of the
tournament the raffle was drawn
by Adrian Gray and the winner was
Tam Findlay.

After the first 1/2 hour play was steady
At table 3 two players against each other
Karl and Colin. The flop fell
5-Q-A after which Karl bet 800 and
Colin called. Turn came 10 Karl bet 1,200
and Colin called. River came Q Karl bet
1,200 and Colin folded. Karl showed
a pair of 10,s to give him a full house.
1st player to leave the tournament was
Mark Urqhuart who went to Scotty Calam.

On table 6 Bear hit quad 9's to give him a fair pot.
Hammy went out to Calum. Hammy's K K was
hammered by Calum's 7 8 with a straight on
the turn.
At table 9 Karl took a nice pot showing a
full house 3's over Q's

At the end of the first session we have
lost 2 players.

Session 2 blinds now 200/400
10 mins in and little or no action then
on table 6 Chunk left going out to Ross
Chunk showed K K and Ross had A 8
hitting an A for the top pair.

Next Adrian went out to Lucky Jim.

We are now down to 5 tables

20 mins left of this session and play
is steady with no rash bets.

Karl won a big pot against Graham Chuckle
The cards on the table went 8 A Q A K. this
gave Graham a flush but Karl hit the full house
showing A Q.

Jonny was next to go going all-in with
K A . Ross called him with 10 10 which
stood eliminating Jonny.

The next big slick bet all-in by Alan was
beaten by Euan Sutherlands Q Q which
stood up. Alan leaves the game at this stage.

Graham was next to double up with K K
against Colin who had 5 5. Both players
picked up 3 of a kind so Graham wins
a fair pot with his kings.

Blinds are now 400/800

Chris went out at this point against
Robert. Chris had A Q while Robert had
Q Q which held up.

After the flop of 5 Q 4 Graham raised
to 8,500 and Karl immediatley raised to
23,600 but getting no call takes a fair
pot.

23 mins left and down to 36 players

Susan F left the game to Graham whos
pocket 10's held up.

Susie then bet all-in after the flop against
Charlie. Susie shows A 3 while Charlie
shows K 2 clubs and hitting the flush on
the turn knocking Susie out.

Next big hand was to John Farqhuar with
quad 6's
Ali went all-in with Q 5 to be called by
Vita with A J taking the pot.

Next to leave was Chelsea against
Stewart. Chelsea went all in pre flop
with A K of diamonds,and Stewart went
over the top with 5 5. The table played
2 J 4 4 7 giving Stewart the pot.

Gareth was up against Babe with A Q and
Babe had K Q.No-one hit so Gareth A
held up.

Next to leave was Vita,who went all in after
the flop with A K. Dave called him showing
10 10. With the board showing 7 high Dave
takes the pot.

Neil was up against Robert next who had
Q Q, Neil had A K suited and hit a flush on
the river.Robert then left the game.

Andrew MacKenzie went out to Colin
Campbell who showed an A flush. And
Andrew did not show.

Steven went all-in with 10 10 and got a call
from John who had Q Q which held up.

Now at level 6 Blinds 1000/2000
Tam went all-in with A A getting a call from
Karl    who showed Q K. The A's held up.
After losing a couple more players we
are now down to 3 tables, one more to go
to get to tomorrow.

After a few all-ins with no takers Gareth
goes all-in getting a call from Ross. Gareth
shows A J while Ross showed A 10.
Gareths J takes the pot and Ross leaves the
tournament.

Tam then went all-in for 15,500 getting a call
from Euan. With the table reading
2 A 3 2 6, Euan hit 2 pair with his A 6 but
Tam had a full house with A 2.

A fair pot went to Fraser(tatties) who
hit a straight flush against Stewart A A.

Raymond Munro doubled up with pocket J's
against Colin's A 10.
Stewart then sent John F out of the game when
he hit a 10 on the river to give him a pair
with A kicker against John's A Q.
Again after few all-in shouts and no
takers we come to the end of the session.
We now have 21 players left.

Session 7  blinds are now 1,500/3000

First player to go in the new session was
Bear ,who went all in ,getting a call from
Tam ,who had pocket A's. Bear showed 7 10.

Kirsty then had a nice double up against Tom
who had K K . Kirsty showed 9 9 hitting a 9
on the river to give her 3 of a kind.
Calum then went all-in for 49,000 and
getting a call from Scotty who had already
bet 13,500 with J 9 diamonds. Calum showed
K K which held up.
Scotty and Calum were at it again with Scotty
all-in with A 5 and Calum calling with J 10.
Table read 10 J Q 5 4 giving Calum 2 pair
and Scotty leaving the game in 19th place.
After a few more all-ins and no takers the
action went to Karl and Euan. Karl went all-in
for 17,500 with K J and Euan calls. None of them
hit and Karl takes the pot with K high.
We are now hand to hand play as we head
towards Day 2 needing to lose 1 player.

Lucky Jim then took a nice double up with
his A J holding up against Pauls K Q.

Next big pot went to Neil against Celio, who
went all-in with A 10 and Neil called showing
5 5. The board went 7 9 9 J 7 giving Neil
two pair and eliminating Celio.
We have now finished day one and go to
day 2 with 16 players.

Day 2 ---2 tables--16 players
Blinds are now 2,000/4,000
After a slow start the first action went to
Tom Reid who doubled up against Kirsty
who had 8 8 while Tom had A Q. His
all-in was 33,500 and hitting a Q on the flop
beat Kirsty.

Colin Campbell with 10 10 took on
Raymond Munro with A Q the flop went
5 5 4 turn was a Q but unfortunately for
Raymond Colin hit a 10 on the river to give him
a full house. Raymond finished in 16th place.

Kirsty then left the tournament in 15th place
as last lady standing. Well done to Kirsty.

Colin then went out in 14th place against
Stewart after a raise,re-raise and push
struggle.

Now things were hotting up and a third
player left in as many minutes. Tom Reid
shoved all-in with K Q against Paul's J K
with the flop 3 4 A turn 3 it looked like
Tom's pot then Paul was lucky enough to
hit a J on the river to take the pot and
Tom finished in 14th place.

Level 9 Blinds now 3,000/6,000
Colin raises to 30,000 pre flop then
Charlie goes all-in with J J Karl then goes
all-in for 27,000 with K A. Colin then folds.
With the cards going 8 10 3 A 8 , Karl
doubles up with 2 pair.A and 8's.
Fraser now goes all in for 39,000 with
J 4 and Paul called with K 10 as the table
read 6 2 K 4 10 Paul takes the pot with
2 pair and Fraser leaves in 13th place.

Tam then doubled up against Charlie who
went all in for 62,500 with A K ,Tam called
for 47,000 with 10 10 which stood up to
give him a nice pot.

25 mins left of this session.
Dave then went out to Karl who won the pot
with 2 pair 10 10 and A's.
Charlie the went to Stewart who hit a Q on
the turn to give him the pot. Charlie went
in 10th place.

The game is now hand to hand as 1 more
player needs to be eliminated.

Colin raised the bet to 17,000 pre flop
but Karl went all-in for 70,000 this proved
to strong for Colin who folded.

Next it was Colin v Karl again as Karl went all in
with K 10 and Colin called him with 6 6
the table reads J K Q J 10 to give Karl a
nice double up with 2 pair K's and J's.
Next Stewart raised to 15,000 then
Colin went all in for 99,000. Too strong
for Stewart who folded.
Next hand Paul bet 25,000 and gets a call from
Gareth flop goes 3 9 K Paul bets 26,000 but
Gareth folds.
Next hand Gareth raised the bet to 15,000
Calum goes over the top with an all-in of
45,000. Gareth calls and shows A 9 while
Calum shows A K the flop goes
J 9 5 turn 10 and river 3  This run of cards
gave Gareth a pair of 9's and Calum finishes
the game in 9th place.
We are now into the final table .
