SESSION 1
 
Blinds at 100/200
Before the first Hand the Early Entry Seat Raffle was drawn
picked by Robert Cumming.
 
The winner was Graham(CHUCKLES) Clifton,
who wins a HPT seat of his choice.
 
Play then begins. 
 
First 15 mins gone and it was steady play alll the way.
Action kicked off on table 2
with Scott Gair up against Stuart Atkinson
The flop went 8 3 3 turn 5 and river 8
Scott then took a fair pot showing 8-9
to give him a full house.
 
Gary Blackwood raised to 3600 pre-flop
Bill Watt called.
The flop came down 8 8 9
turn 9
river 4.
Gary bets 1200 and with
Bill folding he claims a very nice pot.
 
Next up was Gary v Andrew
the cards came down 10 3 7 10 6.
Andrew called a 4000 bet and turned up A A.
Gary did not show.
 
45 mins gone and the play is still steady
while everyone susses out the opposition.
 
Level 2
Blinds still 100/200
 
Mega action next with Babe against Colin(loon) MacKenzie
The flop came in as 2 5 10
with turn K
iver 7
Babe called all-in and Colin called.
When the hands were shown Colin had A A
and Babe showed K K giving her 3 of a kind K.s.
Unlucky Colin left the tournament as first man out.
 
Next to go was Tom Reid out to Nathan McInnes
Tom went all-in with pocket J's
Nathan called with pocket 4's.
and the 4 hit. Unlucky Tom!!!!!
 
On Table 2 Bill Watt had the possible hand of the day
with quad 10's against Susan's A J and with A 10 10 on the board
it was a very courageous fold by Susan.

Next Scott Gair took a good sized pot against Andrew Mac.
Scott showed a full house against Andrews three of a kind 6's.
 
At the end of the first 2 hour session we are down
to 7 tables with 56 players.
 
After a 20 min break play continued
with the blinds now at 200/400.
 
Chunk was up against Jonny Cliffe .
Jonny raised under the gun with 8 3 off suit
while Chunk calls with A 5 off
Both players hit full houses
but Jonny had the better one unlucky Chunk.
 Jonny gives his best smile, after sorting Chunk out.
 
 
Chunk was next to leave the tables with A 2 off
against Ali Mag and J J .
Chunk went all-in for 2400,
Adrian(Santa)Gray called as did Ali.
After the flop Ali raised the bet and Adrian folded.
Poor Chunk (aye right) got no help and was eliminated.
 
On table 2 there was more action,
this time Gary up against Bill Watt.
The flop goes Kh Qh 2s
turn -Ah river-Ks.
Gary bets all-in and Bill folds.
Gary showed a flush
but Bill shows A K ouch a full house.
maybe next time eh!!!!
 
Next action again on table 2 Susan Finally
managed to win a hand with trip 2's
against Gary who had a pair J's
the flop went K J 2 turn 5 and river
to give Susan a full house.
 
Next to leave the tables was Stuart Atkinson
to Liam. Stuart went all in with 8,700 pre flop
with a call from Liam A K The cards went A 7 J 8 7.
 
After a re-shuffle on table 2 Scott showed A J
and Bill showed K Q
with board showing 3 J 9 Q 2.
Bill takes the pot with Q Q.
 
Fraser (tatties) was next to go out to Chelsea.
 
Craig MacKenzie was the man to produce
the hand of the day and the tournament against Liam.
Craig took a nice pot with quad A's against Liams flush.
 
Amril "Ronnie" Hoque was next to go against Elmx .
Ronnie showed pair 6's and Elmx showed A 3 
and the flop went A 10 2 2 Q. Nice hand Elmx.
 
Gary then mega bluffed a pot from Liam,
raising the bet to 6,000.
Liam folded and Gary showed 3 2 off.
 
Susan was next to go out to Craig
who after Susan hit 2 pair A's and J's,
Craig hit trip 8's on the river.
 
Another big pot was Scott against Liam.
Flop went 5 4 5 2 2. Scott had pocket 4's
but Liam took the pot showing A 5.
 
Thomas Stoddart took a fair pot against Alan
with A high against Q high no-one hit so
Thomas claimed the pot.

40 mins left of level 4 and 49 players.
Graham was next to leave the tournament
to Calum who hit 2 pair against Graham's pair A's
 
We are now down to 6 tables
after losing 2 players in succession.
 
Carlos was next go against Snapper.
 
Next out was Paul Wark(A 10)
to Bill Watt(A K) with the K holding up.
 
Jonny went all-in with pocket 10's
and Neil called all-in with A Q
only to hit a Q on the river to give him a fair sized pot.
 
Chelsea was next out to Celio
(with according to Bear
the worst play he has ever seen!!!!!!!hahaha)
Still to get Chelsea's take on this.
 
Blinds are now 500/1000
42 players
 
Jonny went all-in with Q 9
Ali called with Q J 
a pair of 7's on the flop Ali takes all with a J kicker
 
Next to leave was Chris Barclay to Bill Watt.
 
Now down to 40 players and 5 tables.
 
Paul was up against Tam with J J while Tam had J Q.
Tam stays alive with 2 pair ,one on the board and hitting a Q.
 
Dave and Andrew split a hefty pot after a straight on the board.
 
Caroline then bet 9000 against Bob Urqhuart.
Caroline had 9 9 Bob had 10 Q
flop came 9 3 10-5-7 giving Caroline 3 of a kind 9's
 
Euan Sutherland was next to go to Raymond Munro.
 
Play was steady for quuite a while
as nobody was taking on any chances.
 
Dave was next to go to Craig.
Dave went all-in with J J against Craig's Q Q
Liam also contributed to this big pot with A Q
the flop read 5 10 9 8 8
giving Craig 2 pair Q's and 8's.
 
20 mins remaining of this level
and we are down to 35 players.
 
Neil went all-in with K J and Gary called with A Q
board went 5 5 J-8-A Unlucky Neil out to a river Ace.
 
Adrian hit a flush but the man with the hand
was Nathan who hit a full house 9's full of 8's
on the river
 
Bob Urqhuart was in the headlines next
eliminating the Scaffe.
 
We are now down to 4 tables.
 
Now at Level 6
 
Blinds are at 1,000/2,000
 
We now had a 3 way game with Ali,Celio and Andrew.
Which was split between Ali and Celio
who both had 2 pair 5's and 10's with A kicker.
 
Kevin(chuckle 1) Clifton goes all-in pre-flop for 14,500
with pair of 10's and gets a call from Ron who shows 7 9
cards go 8 A 4 2 J. Kevin stays in with pr 10's
 
Ali Mag claims another nice pot after going all-in
after the river for 11,500
with a call from Robert who had 2 pair,
but Ali shows a straight.
 
Liam raised his bet to 7,000
and got an all-in call from Gary
with 36,000, after much thought
Liam decided to fold
Gary did not show.
 
Next we had a 3 player tussle
between Babe,Mark and Alan Stewart
who had gone all-in with Mark foding after the turn
and Babe calling 10,000. Yvonne showed A J
while Alan showed K Q nobody hit so
Babe takes the pot with A kicker and Alan was out.
 
Tam was next to go
after a 4 way hassle with Craig ,Liam and Gary
 who took the pot with a pair of 7's Tam left in 29th place.
Poor Tam out in 29 place
 
Robbie was next out in 28th place to Celio.
 
30 mins remain of level 6 and we are down to 27 players.
 
Steve "Ironfist" O'Hara was next out to Bob
who had A A against his 5 5
 
This next hand was to be split pot
after Liam went all-in for 15,000
with a call from Ron MacKenzie
and both players showed A J and both hit A on the river.
 
Paul then knocked out Donald
with a full house 10's full of J's
 
We are now down to hand to hand play
till we are down to 24 players
 
Liam was up against Colin(chipmonkie)
with AK against AQ Liam hit a  K to fight on.
 
Colin Tucker then was unlucky to go out to Gary
who hit a Q on the flop for top pair
 
and now the tournament finishes for the day
as we are down to 24 players.
           
DAY 2 .........7TH AUGUST 2011
24 players on 3 tables.
 
There was a slow steady start to play
as everybody tried to get a feel of the style of play.
 
Susie then went up against Celio 
who hit an A to give him top pair
after going all-in with Susie calling with Q Q.
 
After a few all-in games
with no takers we have a bit of action.
Caroline called an all-in pre-flop
and got a call from Bob.
Caroline shows A Q while Bob shows A 10
cards on the table go A 6 5 K 3
giving Caroline a lovely double up.
 
Paul then took a big pot off Bob with 3 of a kind 5's
 
Raymond Munro then left the tournament in 24th place
after being blinded out since the re start.
 
Nathan then took a huge pot off Bear
who went all-in with A J
and Nathan showing 9 9 . Unfortunatley Bear did not hit.
 
Babe was out in 22nd place
to Ron who hit a pair on the river.
 
We then had another split
between Craig and Liam who both had A Q
 
Mark was next out in 21st place
to Bob who hit a full house 9's full of 7's
 
Kevin then took a nice pot from Snapper hitting a flush.
 
A few all ins with no takers followed,
then the blinds changed.
 
Blinds are Now 3,000/6,000
 
Gareth then went all-in
but nobody would take him on this time.
 
Then he went all-in again against Charlie,
Gareth showing 9 9 and Charlie showing 3 3.
The table then read 10 A 2 6 A
giving Gareth a nice double up
and Charlie leaving the competition in 19th place.
 
Gary was next to go in 18th place
to Nathan who hit a K on the river
to give him a straight against Gary 2 pair K Q.
 
Another lot of all-ins and no takers
as we are now down to 17 players.
 
Kevo then put in a bet of 18,000
and Gareth went all in over the top
and after much deliberation Kevo decides to fold.
 
More action now as Bob (Snapper) goes all-in for 24,500
and Kevin calls over the top.
Bob shows K J while Kevin shows J J which hold
as the table reads 9 5 6 7 5 and Bob is out in 17th place.
 
35 mins left of this level and we are now down to 2 tables.
 
Next action was between Paul and Ron.
Ron raised to 14,000 and Paul called,
the flop came 2 3 6 and Paul then bets 18,000
Ron calls turn J and river 3
Paul then bets for 27,000 and Ron decides to fold.
We will never know what the winning hand was
as Paul mucked.
 
Susie then had a nice double up against Liam
with 2 pair K's and Q's against Liams pair of 8's.
 
Caroline was next to double up against Paul
with her having pocket 10's
and Paul showing A K the table went A 10 9 K 4 .
 
A tussle between Susie and Celio next
 10 9 10 and Celio bet 20,000, Susie folded.
Celio then showed pocket 8,s giving hom 2 pair.
 
Celio then took a massive pot from Nathan
after going all-in with 84,000
showing K 10,Nathan called with A 10
and the flop went A J Q turn 7 and river J
as you can see Celio flopped the straight to take a huge pot.
 
Bill Watt was next to go after Bob hit a K on the flop
to give him a pair against A 3 The K's held up
and Bill left the tournament in 16th place.
 
Ali Mag then eliminated Nathan with K K against J J
and the K's held and Nathan leaves in 15th place.
 
There is now a short break.
 
Blinds are now 4,000/8,000 with 14 players.
 
Pre-flop Thomas went all-in for 53,000
and got called by Liam with 2 pair on the board
both players holding  A they split the pot.
 
Susie then got a wee double up against Thomas
hitting an 8 on the flop for a pair.
 
Liam then called all-in with 87,500 and A J .
He gets a call from Gareth who is holding A K
and the cards came doen A 7 5 3 Q
giving Gareth the chips and Liam finished in 14th place.
 
Then we had a quiet spell with not much action.
Susie then went all in and got a call from Celio.
Susie showed Q K against Celio's A J
then the flop came Q A 4-3 7 giving Celio top pair
and knocking Susie out in 13th(unlucky for some) place.
 
Thomas then went against Caroline all-in for 43,000.
Thomas shows J J and Caroline shows 7 7.
Flop 5 6 8 turn 5 and river 5
giving Thomas a nice double up with a bigger full house.
 
Celio raised his next bet to 16,000
only for Calum to re-raise to 32,000.
This proved too heavy for Celio and he folded.
Calum then showed Q Q.
 
After the blinds and preflop Paul raises,
Bob calls and Kevo calls 60,500(all in)
Paul then goes all  in and Bob folds.
Kevo shos 8 8 while Paul shows A Q .
The table shows K 2 Q-7-Q giving Paul 3 of a kind Q's
and putting Kevo out in 12th place.
 
Once again we have more all-ins and raises with no takers,
then Kevin took a nice pot from Paul
 who raised the bet and Kevin went all-in
only for Paul to lay down.
 
Paul then doubled up against Ron.
Paul had A A against Ron's Q Q with
the flop going K 9 J -J - K. as you can see 2 pair on the table
Paul's A was enough to take the lot.
 
Then there was more raises and all-ins with no takers
no-one is going out yet.
 
Next action was Caroline went all-in with 45,000
showing A 9 after Gareth called with Q 10.
The cards played J 4 9 K K giving Gareth the straight.
Caroline left the tournament as Last lady standing in 11th place.
Well Done to Caroline.
 
Ron then doubled up against Craig with 10 10 while Craig had K K 
the table read A 2 6 8 10 giving Ron the pot with 3 of a kind 10's.
 
Level 10
Blinds are now 5,000/10,000
 
Craig being short stacked went all-in getting a call from Ron.
Craig shows 5 3 while Ron has K 2
the board read 9 8 10 10 10 giving Ron the pot
with better high card.Craig leaves the tournament in10th place.
 
Tournament has now reached hand to hand .
Only one more out till the final table.
 
Kevin(chuckles 1) went all-in for 58,500 with J 10
and Ron called with A 10 although Kevin hit a J on the turn
Ron had already hit an A on the flop to eliminate Kevin in 9th place.
 
We are now down to the final table with 8 players.
 
During the break we held the raffle and the prizes went as follows:

After the blinds Calum raised to 25,000, Paul called
flop went Q 2 2
Calum bets 35,000 and Paul folds.
 
Next hand Gareth bets 17,500
with calls from Calum and Ali
flop comes 7 A 3 and all check
turn is 2 again all check
river is 7 and again all check.
Ali shows A J, Calum show 10 Q
and Gareth shows A 5
giving him a nice pot with A A.
 
Thomas then went all in a couple of times
to claim the blinds with no takers.
 
Next hand Gareth raises to 20,000 with a call from Calum
the flop goes 7 4 9 Gareth then bets 60,800
only for Calum to fold.
 
Then we had a few more big bets with no takers.
 
Next after the bets went in we had a straight call from Celio
 
with a call from small blind Ron
and a check from Calum the big blind.
the flop went A 4 7 checks all round
turn was 9 and again checks all round,
and the river J. Ron checked,
Calum checked and Celio bet 20,500.
He took the pot as the other two folded.
 
After the blinds Celio raised the bet to 30,000
and with only a call from Paul it was game on.
the flop went 4 K 4 and both checked
turn 9 both went 20,000 each
and on the river J
both checked Celio showed 7 7
Paul showed A Q so Celio takes the pot.
 
Next couple of hands were walks for the BB
and a couple of all-ins with no takers.
 
Next hand pre-flop Calum raises to 25,000
he gets a call from Ali and Gareth
the flop 3 4 K checked all round.
The turn goes 5 again all checked
and the river 5 .
Calum checked and Ali went all-in for 25,000.
After much thought Calum called showing A 5 .
Ali did not show and goes out in 8th place.
 
Paul then raised pre-flop to 25,000
getting a call from Gareth and Ron.
After the flop of J 3 K Paul bet 45,000
and the other 2 folded giving Paul a nice pot.
 
Next it was Gareth's turn to raise the blinds to 40,000
only getting a call from Calum.
Both players checked all the way cards being 6 6 4 8 5 .
Calum shows K 10 but Gareth had K A to take the pot.
 
Next hand with action was between Ron and Calum.
Calum went all in with 94,500 after the flop of 6 7 9
getting a call from Ron  Calum shows 9 10
while Ron shows 7 8
the turn was Q and the river a 10 to give Ron the straight.
Calum leaves the tournament in 7th place.
 
Level 11  6 players. Blinds 6,000/12,000
 
Action this time on the 3rd hand of this level.
 Pre-flop Paul raised to 36,000
 Thomas reraises all--in with 64,000
and Paul called.
Thomas shows A 7 and Paul shows A J
flop goes 9 6 9 turn J and river Q
giving Paul a nice pot
Thomas leaves the table in 6th place.
 
After the cards showed 8 3 7 8 Ron called for 32,000
Gareth then folded. Ron did not show his winning hand.
 
 Ron S/B , Bob B/B & Paul raised to 30,000
with no takers to claim the pot.
 
Similar type game next this time
Ron calling Pauls raise after the turn card
Ron bet 40,000 and Paul raised to 88,000
which proved too heavy for Ron and he folded
giving Paul a nice pot.
 
Pre-flop next Gareth raised to 60,000,
Ron comes over the top with 180,000,
Gareth then went all-in and Ron called.
Gareth showed A A and Ron showed A K
table went 9 6 10 2 K
Gareth wins and Ron leaves the tournament in 5th place.
 
4 players in this hand and after the blinds
all called and Gareth who was small blind raised to 50,000
which proved to be a bet too far and everyone folded.
 
After Gareth called Pauls raise of 30,000
the flop came Q 9 6.
Paul then bets to 43,000 only for Gareth to fold.
No cards were shown.
 
Bob the small blind raised to 22,000,
and Paul called. Flop came down 10 A 7 ,
Bob bet 22,000 and Paul went all-in.
Bob folded and Paul showed A 9 to give him a pair of A's
 
Next few hands after raises there were no takers.
 
This hand involved Gareth b/b and Bob.
The flop went Q A Q Gareth bet 35,000
Bob went all-in for 67,500 more.
and Gareth folded . Nice pot Bob.
 
Next hand saw Gareth yet again raising
after the blinds against Paul after the flop both checked
then the turn came and Paul bet 45,000
Gareth then raised to 119,000 only for Paul to fold.
Gareth then showed A 8 which gave him 2 pair.
 
Next it was Pauls turn to raise the blinds to 30,000
Celio then decided to shove all-in
but this was too much for Paul
and he folded. Celio showed 10 10 .
 
Next couple of pots (blinds only) went to Gareth
as he scared them all off.
 
Paul then took a smashing pot
which went Paul raises to 37,000
and Gareth calls ,
flop goes 9 6 4 and Gareth then bet 110,000,
Paul then went all-in.
After much thought Gareth folded
Paul did not show.
 
The next hand involved Bob and Gareth
after the cards were all on the table 8 7 A -J-4
Bob went all-in and Gareth calls.
With Bob showing J 10
against Gareths J 9
he takes a nice double up.
 
Gareth then continued to scare the guys off
the pots with a few more hefty raises.
 
Blinds are now at 7,5000/15,000
 
Celio went all in this time and there were no takers
Celio showed J J .
 
Next it was Pauls turn to turn up the heat
with big raises but with no takers.
 
This seemed to be the pattern for a few hands
with the raisers claiming the pots.
 
After Paul raised pre-flop to 20,000
Celio went all in with 67,000.
This was just too heavy for Paul and he folded.
 
After the blinds were played Gareth raised to 60,000
with Paul (s/b) calling,
after the flop 7 9 10
Paul went all-in for 405,000,
Gareth folded and there was no show.
 
Next it was Celios turn for the big pot
when Gareth raised the big blind to 45,000
and Celio (s/b) called.
The flop went 3 A Q . Celio then went all-in with 65,000
and Gareth folded. again it was a no show.
 
Now we have a 20 min break.
