Projecto SEMEAR was the initial scheme which has led to the CASA SEMEAR ...which is a DAY CENTRE... for Young Children from the FAVELAs (or SHANTY Towns) of SAO PAULO Brasil

The Population of SAO PAULO is of the order 22 Million of which about one third live in the FAVELLAs

The PROJECTO recently obtained a property in NEUTRAL territory between 3 FAVELLAs and this is called CASA SEMEAR ... the House of SOWING
