Wax Moth Infestation

The Wax Moth caterpillars.

 Extensive damage to both the frames and the brood chamber caused by the caterpillars as they pupate.

 In this particular case the brood chamber was rescued and sterilised, but all infected frames were beyond repair and, in severe cases like these, it was necessary to destroy the infestation.
