EJOLTs activities 2023

Some of what the Ed Board accomplished 2023:

  • At the end of 2022 we moved from publishing 2 issues a year to publishing as and when papers are ready for publishing. EJOLTs 2023 volume 16 comprising 3 papers, a book review and an editorial foreword was completed by 30th December 2023.
  • EJOLTs on Directory of Open Access Journal database (DOAJ). As a consequence papers a consequence South Africans submitting papers to EJOLTs) and on Directory of Irish Publishers
  • Registered with OASPA and papers now given DOI numbers and preserve files for future
  • We are part of the Open Access Maynooth Univ project
  • On 9 university e-library ‘shelves’
  • Publicised – tweeting, retweeting, social media sites e.g. LinkedIn, Researchgate, Academia.ac, jisc mailbases and Facebook…
  • Call for papers resulted in 9 draft abstracts submitted. One went on to create and submit a paper, one member of Ed Board acting as adviser to each of the other 8 authors.
  • Searchable index of EJOLTs contents 2008, 1(1) to 2022, 15(1) created and on ejolts.net.
  • Mentoring the programme started for practitioners responding to ‘call for papers’
  • Searchable index of EJOLTs contents 2008, 1(1) to 2022, 15(1) created and on ejolts.net.
  • Members of Ed Board brought into their presentations in different contexts
  • Connected with Universities re EJOLTs
