EKO Players
EKO Players perform two shows per year (Spring, and Winter panto).  Recent productions include the comedy 'The Chooky Brae'.  Currently we are rehearsing our panto 'Jack in the Box'.  We are open to all regardless of interests; front of curtain and back.  Come and visit us or contact us for more information.
We meet on Mondays at 7pm in the Guide Hall, Dundas Place, East Kilbride.
Membership fees: £20 per year / £10 per year (students/unwaged)

Bookends Theatre Group
Bookends Theatre Group was formed in 2006 by Jim McEwan.
Their first production, 'Men Talking Back', was staged in East Kilbride Arts Centre later that year and was quickly followed by onr of the group's most successful hits, 'The Shut In'.
To date, the group has staged over 60 productions - a mixture of established plays and self-penned original works by Mr McEwan and the late Elizabeth R Davidson, and original stage classics by Jim Ewing.
Bookends has gained a loyal and enthusiastic following across Lanarkshire and regularly plays to sell-out audiences thanks to the efforts of its talented and committed crew of actors and directors of all ages and experiences.
Their most successful original works include 'Strike', based on the 1926 General Strike, and 'To Encourage Others', based on a First World War Court Martial, as well as the hugely popular 'Tenement Tales' and 'Hogmanay'.
The group have also received acclaim for their versions of established works such as 'God of Carnage', 'Of Mice and Men' and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'.
