Woodland Trust Interest

"As a life-member of The Woodland Trust, I have been deeply distressed by the wanton degradation and destruction of this wood by inappropriate developments by residents of the adjoining housing estate.  This include the illicit felling of mature trees.
You may be pleased to know that I have been in contact  with the Trust's 'Woodlands under Threat Officer' - Mrs Katherine Barnes, and given her the details of this website, so that she can investigate the problems.
 In addition to this, she is contacting the talks officer - Karen Fisher, so that a meeting can be arranged."
