Fire risk to elevated patios

Many residents have expressed their deep concern over the grave fire risk to the elevated patios made from wood decking.   It only needs a combination of a prolonged period of dry weather, high winds and the actions of vandals to create a major disaster.

It this happened at night it would take quite a while before it would be noticed.

What make matters worse is the fact that there is no access for a fire engine, and any fire would be difficult to extinguish.
