Guidelines for DDAA permits - 2022.
These are interim measures taking into account the roadmap guidelines that have been announced and subject to change. The committee have tried to make the requirements workable and request all anglers accept them in the same spirit. Tight lines!
Fishing commences on March 15th for brown trout
Lannsaidh remains open all year round for rainbow and blue only
- In keeping with Scottish Govt. stipulations on travel and fishing being allowed, each angler is expected to follow the guidelines regarding Social Distancing.
- 2022 Paid up members only.
- Boats will be available when launched. Anglers are limited to 3 anglers in any boat.
- Booking by email, in advance – at least one clear day – to allow administration and arranged permits will be due, even if not taken up. Emails to ddaasec@hotmail.com by Monday for Wednesday fishing. Booking by “first come first serve” basis, hence the admin – confirmation will be sent out as will “not available” notice. Book loch and number of anglers required. Initially, multiple bookings will be limited to allow more anglers on the water.
- The Eagle Hotel is open – but Eric has agreed to be there from 9am to 10am daily. This helps him make sure the overnight guests are out of the way. If you know you will be arriving after 10am, please advise me at the time of booking.
- If you require the key early – let me know when booking and arrangements will be made for you to get the permit and key late afternoon the previous day.
- Use the front door on The Eagle Hotel. Eric will have the current list bookings due and for which lochs. Only one person per group should go to the Hotel to pick up the keys and permits. Exact money or card payment would equally acceptable.
- Members who show up outwith the advised manned opening hours will not be issued with keys or permits. Late arrivals and no shows who have booked fishing will be expected to pay the booked boat and bank permit tariff as applicable, as in both instances other members could have been prevented from fishing.
- Return key and completed catch return (on reverse of permit) can be put through the letterbox at The Eagle.
- The Eagle will sterilise the keys before they are re-issued.
