MBChB 1995 (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
MRCGP 2001 (Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners)
DRCOG 2000 (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists)
DFSRH 2001 (Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health)

Dr Owen took a degree in English Literature in 1986 and then worked in London before deciding to study medicine at Manchester University. She spent two and a half years of her postgraduate training in Australia before returning to the North West. She joined the practice in 2002. She is a School Doctor at Stonyhurst College. She takes the lead in staffing issues and has an interest in women's health.
