Repeat Prescriptions
If you are on regular medication, monthly prescriptions are ordered via the Dispensary.
Online ordering is available. This service is only available for repeat prescriptions, eg medicines that are taken regularly.
Online ordering is via e-mail. The system uses Microsoft's 'Internet Explorer' to send the order to the dispensary. If you do not have Internet Explorer, or if the e-mail link does not work for you click:
The dispensary will accept a direct email to: repeats.gp81069@nhs.net
Please allow at least 2 full working days for the prescription to be prepared. Please note that if you send your request on a Saturday or Sunday, it will not be dealt with until Monday.
Your request will be sent by email directly to the dispensary. The dispensary will acknowledge all repeat prescription requests sent by sending a return email.
Please note that requests made in this manner are not secure, and if you are unhappy about sending details of your request electronically, then please do not use the service. Telephone requests are also taken by the Dispensary on 01200 413585.
The Dispensary will also help with any other requests for medication which have to be put through to the doctor.
If you live more than a mile from the nearest Pharmacy then the Dispensary can also supply your medication. Please ask if you are not sure if you can use this service.
A Delivery service is available to patients living in the outlying villages who are eligible to obtain their medicines from the dispensary. Please ask at the dispensary reception for further information.
