Home Visits

 

Home visits are made when a person cannot attend the surgery for a medical reason.

 

If you request a home visit the receptionist will ask for details of the problem in order to help the doctor prioritise the request. The doctor may ring you for more information before deciding if a home visit is the best option.

 

Home visits will generally take place between morning and afternoon clinics but it is not usually possible to arrange an exact time when the doctor will attend. If the problem is urgent the doctor will attend as soon as possible.

 

If you think you need a home visit, please ring as early as possible, preferably before 10.30am
