hannah with create 20/20 crewCreate 20/20 Film Project

Maria Suarez came to the studio on Saturday 10th July with her team of young people to film one of my students, Hannah McCarey, for the film project 20/20. The project sees 20 1-minute films created by young people about 20 young artists in the area.  Hannah is an excellent colourist and painter and it was interesting to hear her talk about her work and why she loves art.  Well done to everyone. A friendly atmosphere and Sophie brought cake! :)

The film 20/20 was premiered at the weekend as part of the Sma' Shot Festival celebrations. Families came to see the film. I had seen a preview of Hannah's input but it looked great up on the big screen. I hope that in 10-15 years these young artists will still be creating.
