Lyall and Isabel handing over a cheque to Thurso Lifeboat. The donation came from the collection taken up at the Christmas Carol Service in John O' Groats Hall.

 

Our latest group of communicant members, admitted on 15th March - Henry and Marilyn Gunn, Kirsty Shearer, Isabel Mackay and Gwen Coghill. Mairi Anne Cormack was also admitted but dashed off before we had a chance to get her in the photo!

  Hugh Simpson being  presented with a letter of thanks by Lyall, in recognition of forty years service as an elder of Canisbay Church. We are all deeply grateful to Hugh whose good nature and solid faith has been a rock on which our congregation could always depend.

Edmund - who is studying in Aberdeen - spent some time with us on placement over the summer and was a huge help in carrying on the work of the Church. We thank him and wish him every blessing with his studies and his future career
