Baptisms
There is something very special about a service of Baptism, not only for the families concerned, but for the whole life of the Church.
This is Stuart and Claire Sinclair with their daughter Cara who was baptised in Canisbay 11th May 2014
Katie Morag Ross - August 2009
This is Katie Morag Ross, daughter of Willie and Joanna from Canisbay, being baptised into the Church by Rev Alastair Gray - sorry its a bit blurry but the photographer probably had a tear in her eye!
This is the family group at the Christening, with Joanna holding Katie Morag - and what a star she was on the day!
Here is Rev Alastair Gray holding Katie Morag who is explaining to Alastair the workings of the anti-lock braking system on her car...

Both families - along with the whole congregation - celebrate the Christening of Jean and Kat Beattie together with twins Liam and Katie and little Alice Dunnett.
These little charmers - Vicki, Abbie and Lyndsey, the family of David and Jenny Dunnet from the Braes of Gills - were baptised on 24th September. They were all as good as gold! I bet that's more than can be said for their Dad at the party afterwards....
So much for the doom-and-gloom brigade who tell us the Church is dying out!
