THREE NEW ELDERS ORDAINED
Canisbay Kirk enjoyed one of its truly historic occasions on Sunday 7th November when three new ekders were ordained to the Kirk. Alex Kenny, Ruth Malcolm and Christine Shearer are all now duly ordained and we shall all be giving them every support in their efforts to further the work of the Church. One of their first duties was to welcome Sandra Sinclair (2nd right) as a Member of the congregation.
Queen Mother's Memorial
The memorial Plaque to the Queen Mother is now in place outside the Hall, along with the row of trees planted in her memory.
The picture shows David Polson who built the stone plinth - and a lovely job he made of it too, even if he does look as though he thinks Jeanne's camera is actually a shotgun!
