"Recent Curiosities from Mars"

Join us for an illustrated talk by Pauline Macrae from the Highlands Astronomical Society that will tell the story of the NASA rover Curiosity, its exploration of Mount Sharp on the planet Mars, and its search for evidence of past habitable environments.

This talk is being held in association with the Caithness Branch of the British Science Association and the iMechE.

Refreshments will be served after the presentation and if weather permits there will also be the opportunity to look through CAG telescopes at Mars and other objects of interest in the autumn night sky.

Children are very welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
