CAG are delighted to announce a public talk on "Timelapse Photography of the Night Sky" by CAG member Maciej Winiarczyk (local amateur astronomer and astrophotographer).

Come along and hear how these stunning videos (www.youtube.com/user/spider72wtf/videos) are produced from a sequence of still images.

The talk (details below) will start shortly after 1900hrs on Thursday 13th December at Castlehill Heritage Centre.

If the weather permits there will also be an observing session at this recently designated Dark Sky Discovery Site, where we’ll hope to see some Geminid Meteors and other winter night sky delights.
