The Orkney International Science Festival takes place in early September and has a number of astronomy events planned. Details can be found via the following weblink - www.oisf.org/index.php?path=programme - there are some big name speakers in the programme including Prof Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell. If travelling across the Pentland Firth to attend any of the festival events you can be assured of a warm welcome.

Note that for the 3rd year in a row CAG will have a presence at the Family Day event on Saturday 8th where we will have our solar observing equipment and various other astronomical things to see and do.
